About this site
This is an information site for a volunteer-run, all-welcome community bike ride in Sydney. It is not a club and there is no membership.
Riding with us
Taking part in a ride is governed by the separate rider waiver and release you sign before each ride. These website terms do not replace that waiver. Riding carries real risks, and you participate at your own risk as set out in the waiver.
Ride information
We do our best to keep dates, times, meeting points and routes accurate, but they can change, and rides may be postponed (for example, in bad weather). Always check our Instagram for the latest before heading out. Information on this site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
Merch and donations
Merch is small-batch and limited, offered on a donation basis at rides; availability is not guaranteed. Donations made through third-party platforms (such as GoFundMe) are handled by those platforms under their own terms.
Intellectual property
The Sydney Bike Rave name, logo and site content belong to Sydney Bike Rave. Please don't reuse them without permission.
Third-party links and content
The site links to and embeds third-party content (such as Instagram, RideWithGPS and GoFundMe). We're not responsible for those services or their content.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability for failing to comply with such a guarantee can be limited, we limit it to the maximum extent permitted, for example to re-supplying the relevant goods or services, or paying the cost of doing so.
Limitation of liability
Subject to the Australian Consumer Law section above, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, Sydney Bike Rave and its volunteers are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website or its content. Risks related to taking part in a ride are dealt with separately in the rider waiver and release you sign before each ride.
Privacy
Your information is handled in line with our Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
